Great Rads partnership with British Racing Driver Clayton Kingman

We are very proud at Great Rads to announce that we partnering with exciting British Racing Driver Clayton Kingman.

Clayton is the man behind 'Twitter to Track', the well-documented media campaign that captured fans' hearts by proving that anyone can realise their dreams with hard-work and determination.

Clayton will be racing the legendary Lotus 59 up the hill during the Goodwood Festival of Speed (FOS) in 2016.

Clayton commented, "This is an unbelievable opportunity for me, and one that is a complete dream come true. To think a few years ago I was just a motorsport fan and now, here I am, about to climb into a piece of motorsport history -  I simply cant believe it!'

Clayton, who is well known on social media for his 'Twitter to Track' campaign first started out as nothing more than a fan of the sport until a conversation on  twitter sparked a new venture, to become a driver. He has since competed in various Dunlop VAG Trophy and MINI Challenge races.

Goodwood Festival of Speed is an annual event which hosts an array of cars from every era and draws in drivers from across the globe such as triple time world champion, Lewis Hamilton and past champion, John Surtees MBE.

Clayton will attempt to be the quickest up the infamous 'Goodwood Hill' whilst driving the Lotus 59 that was featured heavily in the film 'RUSH' in 2013.

He comments, "I was last at Goodwood FOS in 2014, I vowed then that I would, one day, drive at this event - I didn't expect it to be quite this soon, nor in such an incredible car. This is a story that I'll be telling the grandchildren in years to come!'

Clayton's progress will be reported in regular blogs on Great Rads

We will be offering 2 tickets to attend the Festival of Speed, more details will follow shortly on how to enter.
